This Privacy Policy explains how Prompt Apps LLC (“Prompt Apps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Nave iOS and Android app and https://hellonave.com.
This Policy is designed to meet Apple App Store and Google Play disclosure rules and to address GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, and similar laws. It describes current practices and possible future practices. We will update this Policy before a new collection practice goes live.
Controller: Prompt Apps LLC, Indiana, United States.
Email: support@hellonave.com
For subscription receipt validation, RevenueCat, Inc. acts as our processor. Apple and Google are independent controllers of their store accounts, payment credentials, and store subscription records.
Nave is built so that learning progress stays on your device.
We do not currently require a cloud account, and we do not currently operate a social network, public feed, or user-to-user chat.
We do not currently use advertising SDKs, do not sell personal information, and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not currently run an analytics SDK or crash-reporting SDK. You may email bug reports to support@hellonave.com.
This information stays on the device. Uninstalling the App or using Delete at the bottom of the profile page removes it from that device. We cannot remotely retrieve it.
If you start a trial or subscribe, Apple or Google and RevenueCat process:
We do not receive your full credit-card number. Payment instruments are handled by Apple or Google.
If you contact support about billing, you may choose to send us an App User ID, order details, or email address. Provide only what is needed.
If you email support@hellonave.com, we receive your email address, message content, and any attachments you include. Use that inbox for support, privacy requests, legal notices, and bug reports.
If you visit hellonave.com to read these documents, our hosting provider may process standard server logs (IP address, browser type, date/time, pages requested) for security and delivery. We do not currently use advertising cookies on the App.
We do not currently collect: account passwords; government IDs; precise location; contacts; photos; camera or microphone recordings; health data; advertising IDs for ads; or payment card PANs.
We may later add one or more of the following. We will not treat this list as permission to collect the data until the feature ships and this Policy is updated.
If AI or training features ship:
Until those features exist, we do not transmit your on-device quiz answers or profile name to our servers for model training.
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Provide the App and keep progress on device | Local profile and progress | Contract; our and your legitimate interests in a functioning App |
| Process trials and subscriptions; restore purchases | Purchase and App User ID data | Contract; legal obligations (tax, accounting, fraud) |
| Customer support | Email and message content | Contract; legitimate interests; consent where you send optional data |
| Security and abuse prevention | Limited technical and support data | Legitimate interests; legal obligations |
| Legal compliance | As required | Legal obligation |
| Future analytics, optional cloud, optional AI, model improvement | As then disclosed | Consent and/or legitimate interests, as applicable |
You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. The App may not offer a consented feature after withdrawal.
We share information only as follows:
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not allow third-party ads in Nave.
We cannot restore deleted local progress.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a local-first App: on-device storage for learning data; HTTPS for our website and vendor APIs; and vendor encryption in transit for subscription validation. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Nave is a general-audience Bible-learning App and is intended to be appropriate for families. It is not directed at collecting personal information from children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on our servers. The current App stores a display name and progress on the device only. Parents and guardians should use a nickname, not a child’s real name, and should not put a child’s photo, email, or phone number in the App.
If a parent believes we have collected a child’s personal information other than local on-device data, email support@hellonave.com. We will delete information in our possession.
If we add cloud accounts, sharing, photos, analytics tied to identity, or training on user content, we will either:
and we will update this Policy.
We do not condition a child’s participation in a game or quiz on disclosing more personal information than reasonably necessary. There is no third-party advertising.
We are based in the United States. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may process subscription data in the United States and other countries.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (or successor transfer tools) with vendors when required. Email support@hellonave.com for transfer questions.
Subject to legal limits, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability, and you may withdraw consent. You may complain to your local supervisory authority (for example, your EU member-state DPA or the UK ICO).
Because most learning data is only on your device, the fastest access/deletion method is the in-app delete control. For information we hold (support email, subscription identifiers on our vendor systems), email support@hellonave.com.
Categories collected: identifiers (email if you contact us; anonymous App User ID); commercial / purchase information; device and app information; on-device profile/progress (not transmitted today); website log data if you visit hellonave.com.
Sources: you; your device; Apple; Google; RevenueCat.
Purposes: Section 5.
Recipients: Section 6.
Retention: Section 7.
Sale / share: We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a CPRA right to limit.
Rights: know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale/share (not applicable while we do not sell or share), non-discrimination, and limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable. Submit requests to support@hellonave.com. We will verify using the email and facts you provide. You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law.
We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
Residents of states with consumer privacy statutes (including, where applicable, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising or sale. We do not engage in targeted advertising or sale as those terms are commonly defined. Email support@hellonave.com.
You may request access to and correction or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to local law (PIPEDA, Australian Privacy Principles, LGPD, and others). Email support@hellonave.com. You may also contact your local regulator.
The App does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We honor legally required opt-out signals for sale/share if we ever engage in those activities; we do not currently do so.
We will post updates at https://hellonave.com/privacypolicy and change the effective date. Material changes that introduce new collection (analytics, AI training, photos, cloud sync) will be noticed in the App or by other reasonable means before or when the change takes effect.
